Dr Rehana Amir is a dedicated General Practitioner who has been practising medicine since 2015. She graduated from the prestigious Khyber Medical College (KMC), Pakistan, in 2014 before relocating to Australia. Since then, she has gained extensive clinical experience working across a range of specialties within tertiary hospitals in Melbourne, including Monash Health and Northern Health.
Dr Amir completed her Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) in Wangaratta, Victoria, in 2025, where she further developed her skills in providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and is committed to building long-term relationships with her patients through continuity of care and evidence-based medicine.
Her special interests include dermatological conditions, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, chronic disease management, women’s health, child health, adolescent health, mental health, and the management of long-term conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. Dr Amir is passionate about preventative health and empowering patients to take an active role in their healthcare through education and shared decision-making.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Amir enjoys teaching and mentoring junior medical staff and medical students.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
